Marco Gorin

Based in India, Marco Gorin is the Chief Commercial Officer of InterGlobe Technology Quotient (ITQ), a strategic business unit of InterGlobe Enterprises. Marco is an expert in the area of travel distribution in South Asia.

Prior to his move to India, Marco served as Market Development Director for Asia at Travelport for five years with overall responsibility for the development and management of new business opportunities and strategies specific to global distribution platforms.

This past decade he has been fully dedicated to the development of new electronic distribution and revenue channels for both traditional and non-traditional GDS users. Marco has been managing work ranging from enabling regional multimedia companies to access and distribute travel inventory, assisting NTOs to obtain better promotional results through global distribution platforms, enabling both traditional and low-cost carriers to expand their on-line offerings and connecting private hospitals with the emerging medical tourism market.

Marco earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Huron University, Huron, South Dakota (USA) in 1996. A native Italian, Marco has lived and worked in Italy, Great Britain, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand and currently resides in India.
