Daniela is an enthusiastic, energetic and personable executive with a 25-year track record of outstanding achievement in the travel industry.

She has a strong belief in people and in building relationships between companies and individuals at all levels. She is exceptionally enterprising and has applied her entrepreneurial and interpersonal skills very effectively in a large corporate environment to motivate staff and to turn new ideas into full-blown, profitable revenue streams. She has an extensive network of top-level industry contacts around the globe.

She has worked as a consultant helping businesses to enter into new markets on a no-risk low-cost basis through partnerships and local franchising.

Daniela is currently the CEO of eWaterways.com, an online aggregator of niche cruise product that was launched in 2008, offering a new concept for small ship cruises to be sold online globally.

Daniela was managing director of OctopusTravel (online arm of GTA – Gullivers Travel Associates) for 5 years, creating distribution partnerships with over 80 airlines and 500 other travel partners worldwide and taking Octopus to be the number 4 fastest growing company in the UK (Sunday Times Fastrack 100 survey).

Prior to that, she spent 13 years in leading positions in two of the world’s most respected tourism organisations, WTTC (World Travel & Tourism Council) and ETOA (European Tour Operators Association), both of which she helped to build into meaningful lobbying and networking associations.
